On July 1, 2024, SIA "Piebalgas Kūpinatava", which was founded in 2015 and has won a stable place in the Latvian market with its high-quality smoking and various meat products, changed its owner. The founder of the company, Rihards Eniks, sold the company to the farm "JUNDAS", whose owner is Alma Bērziņa (www.almab.lv).
Alma also manages the cooperative company "LATVIJAS LIELLOPS" (www.galaspiegade.lv) owned by beef cattle breeders and with this transaction "Piebalga Kūpinatava" expands its activities and focuses on new development goals.

New directions and company development.

One of the main future goals is to expand production volumes and stabilize the supply of the offered products. In the future, "Piebalgas Kūpinatava" will also offer high-quality beef grown in Latvian grasslands in its product range. Cooperation with the "Latvijas Liellops" cooperative, which brings together experienced cattle breeders from all over Latvia, will ensure constant quality and reliability.
In addition to beef production, the company will continue to process pork, poultry, lamb and game, offering consumers high-quality and excellent-tasting products. Also, the company is open to closer cooperation with other participants in meat production and processing - livestock farmers and hunters who are looking for a reliable processing partner.

Modernization and sustainable growth.

The company's development plans are not limited to new product offerings. In order to achieve the set goals and ensure production efficiency, it is necessary to modernize the production schemes of several products, I purchased new equipment for the processing plant. The new owner, Alma Bērziņa, is determined to improve the production process and adapt it to the most modern food processing requirements. This will allow "Piebalgas Kūpinatava" to strengthen its position in the market as a producer of quality and innovative meat products.
